COVID-19 Update:
For the health, safety and well-being of our residents, employees and communities, we are temporarily closing the lobby of Town Hall and suspending all rentals for events and parties (except the gym, depot and pavilion at the park) until further notice.

RESOURCES FOR BUSINESSES
The Town of Hildebran is a proud member of local organizations that
promote local economy and community building.
Our mission: to promote economic growth, innovation and sustainability in Burke County in order to improve the standard of living and well-being of its citizens.
Burke Development, Inc. (BDI) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization supported by private and public funding that is charged with accelerating economic growth in Burke County. BDI works with industry leaders, site selection consultants, government agencies and other entities to facilitate expansion and development strategies for existing businesses and recruit target industries to Burke County.
Burke Development is a two-time International Economic Development Council Excellence in Economic Development award recipient.
The term “Chamber of Commerce” dates back more than 400 years. A chamber of commerce is a local network of businesses, governed by a board of directors and run by professional staff, who work to serve and advance business interests. Chambers strive to increase wealth and prosperity within their communities by facilitating the growth of existing businesses and fostering the development of new ones. Like professional and trade associations, chambers of commerce are not-for-profit, tax-exempt organizations as outlined in section 501(c)(6) of the Internal Revenue Code.
The Burke County Chamber of Commerce has been a trusted resource for local, regional and national businesses and their employees since 1945. We are an independent organization governed exclusively by our local board of directors and not a construct of a national or state organization. Members rely on our full calendar of networking and learning opportunities as well as our assistance in navigating complex issues facing the business community. The Burke County Chamber of Commerce works every day to build a stronger community for businesses and for residents.
