The Town established a Facade Improvement Grant Program for businesses in the Downtown District.

In 2021, a Comprehensive Parks and Recreation Plan was completed for the Town.

The Town has a new Code Enforcement policy.  Nuisance complaints can now be submitted online.

Grant Funds

The Town was recently awarded $230,000 from the State of North Carolina in the state's legislative budget.

HHDA maintains and oversees the Hildebran museum.  It is located in the basement of the auditorium.

Community News

Royal Park
The Town was awarded a PARTF grant in the amount of $289,700 for the future Royal Park! The
park will be built where the old school building stood.  More information about the park will be communicated as progress occurs.

The Enola Group/Buster Bus
The Town and The Enola Group have partnered for the Buster Bus to be parked at our Town Hall parking lot.  Buster Bus serves children from birth to age 5.
