TOWN SERVICES
LAW ENFORCEMENT
Burke County Sheriff's Office
A Burke County Deputy Sheriff works full time exclusively for the Town of Hildebran.

FIRE AND RESCUE
Icard Township Fire/Rescue Inc.
Icard Township Fire/Rescue Inc. is not a part of the Town of Hildebran government; however, it does handle all fire and rescue calls within the Town of Hildebran's corporate limit. Reflective house number signs can be purchased at the fire department for $15.00.

GARBAGE COLLECTION SERVICE
Republic Services is contracted with the Town to pick up garbage on a weekly basis.
Garbage Collection is every Wednesday. Republic Services asks that trash cans be at the curb by 6:00 am.
RECYCLE SERVICE
Simply Green Recycling Service
Simply Green is contracted by the Town to pick up recycling. Recycling Collection is bi-weekly on Wednesdays. Simply Green asks that bins be at the curb on Tuesday nights.
STREETS
Town of Hildebran/NC Department of Transportation
The Town is currently responsible for approximately 5 miles of streets in Hildebran. Maintenance of these streets includes pavement, patching & resurfacing, mowing, drainage, snow removal and signage. The remaining 17-18 miles of streets are maintained by the North Carolina Department of Transportation.

SEWER
Recently, the Town of Hildebran sold its sanitary sewer collection system to the City of Hickory, N.C. All maintenance, fee structures and deposits will be the responsibility of the City of Hickory.

Icard Township Water Corporation is the water supplier for the residents within the Town of Hildebran.

The Town has several facilities available for rent to the public:

A Gymnasium that can accommodate full-court tournaments

An Auditorium that seats approximately 545

The Depot at the Community Park is a picturesque location for a baby shower, birthday party, or family reunion.

The Pavilion at the Community Park offers 8 picnic tables under a spacious shelter.
